Exposure Assessments / Nucor Steel /NE
Principal Certified Industrial Hygienist to define homogeneous exposure groups (HEGs) within the facility, in order to determine an OSHA-compliant exposure monitoring program for the various physical and chemical hazards for 500 plant employees. Tasks included Site Characterization, identification of HEG; development of Workplace Monitoring Plan, reporting and corrective actions.
Indoor Air Quality / Blue Cross Blue Shield / NY
Provided indoor air quality services for a 1200 employee call in center experiencing, health effects which contributed to extensive business interruptions.
Industrial Hygiene / Safety / Railworks Track Services / NY
Achieved a zero lost time incident rate as Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) on a large scale rail yard construction project. Project came in under budget, in part due to careful oversight of the SSHO duties which included safety training, training documentation, worker observation, and safety assessment.
Industrial Hygiene / Safety / Bechtel Corporation / CA
Developed Safety Manual, conducted oversight as a Certified Safety Professional & Certified Industrial Hygienist, in support of a survey at an abandoned minute-man missile silo. The silo was on a remote 54-mile long site, estimated at 100 feet and had unknown air conditions and biohazards.
